A string of songs led from the success of that first record. “Surfin’ USA”, “I Get Around”, “Little Deuce Coupe”, “California Girls” and many others have since been hailed as classics. Although it was the ideas of sun, surf and the Californian dream that helped push the songs up the charts, the Beach Boys outstanding harmonies and increasingly complex vocal arrangements (by eldest brother Brian) were what set them apart.
